Who We Are

Welcome! St Mark’s Parish is a thriving community, driven by a desire to further our faith together and, in the words of our Vision Statement, living and proclaiming the Gospel.

St Mark’s Drummoyne was established in 1887 under the care of the parish of Balmain West, initially as a school-church.  In 1900 Cardinal Moran, on the feast of St Joseph (19 March) created Drummoyne as a separate parish.

These days, St Mark’s has around 3,500 parishioners, of which around 500 regularly attend Mass.  There is a very active core group who are involved in a variety of ministries.  Of course you are free to be involved as much or as little as you like but, if you are keen to meet people, joining in some activities will achieve this in a very short time.  If you would like to join one of the many ministries at St Mark’s Parish (listed below) contact the parish office for assistance (02) 9181 1795 –
