FUNERALS AT ST MARK’S
With sure and gentle love, God is our shepherd. God will lead us home.. Psalm 23

In the face of death, the Church confidently proclaims that God has created each person for eternal life and that Jesus, the Son of God, by his death and resurrection has broken the chains of sin and death that bound humanity.

Catholic Funerals express the special character of Christian death in hope of the resurrection. They also manifest the meaning of communion with the departed particularly through prayer for the purification of their souls.

Funerals are held at St Mark’s Catholic Church Drummoyne for deceased members of the parish or of other Catholic’s when circumstances suggest.  In keeping with the nature of a Catholic Funerals are carried out according to the approved liturgical books and with the guidance of the Parish Priest. Families are asked to notify the Parish Priest and speak with their Funeral Director to book St Mark’s Catholic Church Drummoyne.

St Mark’s Columbarium

Within St Mark’s Church, there is a Columbarium Chapel. Niches for the chapel were sold when the chapel was installed and there are no niches available for sale.
